A M A Z I N G

haha, a fun night altogether. kind of hung out with this Russian guy who had bought flowers for the band. he told it was a common habit in Russia. the dj played Joy Division, Lou Reed and The Cure and a few people danced shyly. blonde redhead was fantastic. it was a good place to be, standing there in the middle of the crowd.

igår

first we went to see the movie 35 shots of rum with tomi. he fell asleep a few times during the movie and to be honest i had to struggle to stay awake too. too bad.
the night continued to korjaamo. big wave riders were pretty fantastic with their tina turner visuals and everything. a new favorite from finland, sweet!
i'm daydreaming about stockholm.

and i guess i'll take care
and the next time that i'm there
i'll serve breakfast in bed
have to make sure you're well-fed
you're a movie star
midlake announced a show at tavastia in november (perfect) and my heart skipped a beat.
i will be there.

an epic three day party weekend behind, yeah! great music and good vibes - that was flow.
life tends to surprise us every once in a while forcing us to change our plans and weight our expectations. i have to be grateful i'm right here right now, i thought, watching the stars outside the tent stage. i'll never know what could have happened, but why should i?

+Anyone who understands how standing in a crowd of sweaty people, elbow to elbow, screaming along to the words embedded in your heart, can give you the most happiness ever needed and someone who knows it's okay to love something maybe a little too much, as long as it's real to you. -Anonymous

In the city their hearts start to sing, well, some people singing sounds like screaming.

i took this picture a few minutes after win had gotten lost in the crowd.
joyous and good looking people, a beautiful mid-summer night and one of the most amazing bands in the world history,
arcade fire.

the other night

wednesday night was so surreal.
the radio dept simply made me ooh and aah by playing all their best songs.

that's how perfect the city looked that night. so beautiful and quiet.
