this week has been a tough one.

i'm in a place right now where i feel safe and peaceful.

due to all the stressful things (ugh) going on in my life at the moment, i've been feeling really anxious and crazy lately and being at home in the city kind of stresses me out.

so this is my little getaway.

everything will be okay in the end.

it's been so hot. it feels amazing.

AND since my notebook is full, i might use this as my notebook until i get a new one (= a lego moleskine. have you seen those!? it has a little baseplate on the front cover so you can build stuff on your notebook. talk about awesome!)

it's memorial day tomorrow (ah - i live in the us these days!) and i don't think it's going to be an exciting one.

i stole a book from my aunt's house. the first harry potter book - in FINNISH. seeing the beautiful, familiar words makes my heart warm.

tonight i just wanted to recommend you the movie la haine on yle teema. it tells about the anger and frustration in parisian suburbs. class tensions, racial tensions and riots. a great, documentary-like film with amazing black and white cinematography.
